Paracetamol has acquired a well-established role for pain relief and fever management throughout the whole world. It is a well-accepted drug in the clinical setting given its predictable side effect range. In the following case report, we present hypotension as an unfamiliar side effect, found in a neurologically impaired patient in our intensive care unit. In addition, an outline on the pharmacology and pharmacodynamic features of paracetamol will be given.
