Case Reports
DR van Bommel, JAL Hodge, JH Zwaveling

We describe a 63-year-old male on home ventilation who presented with signs of airway obstruction. The airway turned out to be obstructed by a large mass of necrotic material, not in the tracheostomy tube but in the trachea and right main bronchus. Possible causes and potential remedies are discussed.
