Pulmonary complications such as pleural effusion, atelectasis, consolidation, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) are well known after acute pancreatitis. Haemoptysis has been reported in cases of chronic pancreatitis due to vascular complications. Delayed haemoptysis after acute pancreatitis without any vascular complication is a rare occurrence. We report on one such case in which haemoptysis resolved on conservative treatment.
